RESIDENTIAL DRIVEWAY TRANSFORMATION
STUNNING SILVER RESIN DRIVEWAY
An exceptional permeable SUDS compliant residential driveway was completed in Southend by the Ace Resin team. As always, we used a combination of top quality materials and great workmanship.
Firstly, we created a strong and reliable base using MOT type 1 followed by a tarmac sub-base. This allowed the team to achieve a smooth surface for the resin to settle on. Using the correct depth extends the longevity of the driveway & makes it fit for purpose.
We used the following materials to complete the project:
175mm MOT type 1
70mm porous tarmac
18mm UV resin bound
The client chose Silver Grey resin-bound paired with a bold black resin-bound border to create a contrast. Lastly, entrance steps were built using a charcoal colourway.
We pride ourselves on attention to detail which is why we recommended changing the manhole cover to a recessed model. This way, the resin-bound could cover the lid to accomplish a seamless finish. Finally, the team used pin kerbs to create a strong edge against the grass boundary.
